Painted walls should be given time to cure (2-3 weeks) before applying wall art. Freshly washed windows should be thoroughly rinsed and completely free of cleaning agent. After rinsing, windows must then be thoroughly dried before applying vinyl artwork.
Before beginning, be sure to have the following:
- Wall Decal, Lettering, Monogram, Embellishment, etc.
- Water or Rubbing Alcohol
- Dry Cloth
- Wet Sponge
- Blue Painters Tape
- Straight Edge
- Burnishing Tool (can use credit card, spackle knife or pancake turner)

Wall Decal and Sticker Removal
Gently peel the word art off the wall. It’s that simple and easy!
The heat from a blow dryer will soften the vinyl, making it easier to peel off. Just be sure to keep an eye on the heat coming from your blow dryer so no damage is done to the wall’s surface.
